Ideas from clients are the chief driver of our solutions development process at SS&C Advent. These ideas are especially evident in the latest releases of Tamale RMS, SS&C Advent’s proven and trusted research management solution. Our goal has been to provide a functionally rich and modern RMS experience with Tamale Web, focusing on accessibility in addition to highly anticipated new features. Tamale 20.2 through 20.4 features over a dozen enhancements, developed specifically from client feedback.
One of the highly sought out features that has recently made its way into Tamale Web is Tamale Front Sheets. Tamale Front Sheets lets users seamlessly update key metrics from analyst models in Microsoft Excel directly into Tamale for use in note deposits and reporting. As a core feature for many clients, the addition of Tamale’s Front Sheets lets users take advantage of other new features including dashboards, email digests, and note drafts, which are already available.
We have also made several reporting enhancements, notably the ability to white-label and print dashboards. The new bar chart, note and text area tile types make it easier than ever to share a visually appealing report of deposited information with colleagues, managers, and investors. In addition, the updated interface allows for streamlined dashboard creation, more intuitive navigation, and a cleaner look and feel, which are fundamental to a cohesive end-user experience.
We’re also introducing four major functional enhancements to Tamale Web. With the release of Tamale 20.4, clients can expect:
- An Intralinks portal with quick submit capabilities
- An updated contact model with CRM enhancements
- A new task management system to set and assign tasks
- The introduction of auto-tagging powered by AI, making depositing easier than ever
These new features are exclusively available via Tamale Web and are the stepping stones that Tamale will build upon to make our clients’ RMS experience even better than ever.
The frequent updates in shorter release cycles of Tamale Web are a clear advantage. Receiving the optimal value out of a research management system is imperative. In a recent paper from Celent, “this is the “nerve center” of the investment engine and the core platform that supports the decision-making process.”
